Following in the solo project footsteps of several of his Arcade Fire band mates (Will Butler, Richard Reed Parry), bassist Tim Kingsbury is the latest member to go it alone. He’s making his solo debut a little later this summer under the moniker, Sam Patch, and he’ll be testing the waters at Riverfest.
Tim’s been a member of Arcade Fire since 2003, before the release of their breakthrough debut, Funeral. The band is on a break after playing the world’s largest festivals and stadiums in support of Reflektor. Tim has played bass for the iconic (now defunct) Montreal band Wolf Parade and composed music for the short film, Une danse des bouffons, alongside Marcel Dzama and Kim Gordon.
