The name of the band says it all. If you are looking for infectious funky grooves that will have you dancing on the outside, (not just the inside), GROOVA is your band.
GROOVA has been on the drawing board for seasoned musicians, Dean Workman (bassist) and Richard Hill (drummer) for a while now. But when they found Emmett Watters (guitar), Daley O'Keeffe (percussion) and Nick Lennox (saxophone) from The Boo Radley Project, they knew they had a group. This was the genesis of GROOVA and they are here to rock your earholes.

Festival alum: GROOVA is a band formed of Riverfest Elora volunteers and various musicians that have played at the festival over the years. They are back for a repeat performance after first performing at the 2015 festival. The moment: The first time they performed they were on the small version of the Dine Alone stage, which was selling sweaters and vinyl. So people were legitimately coming up and shopping on the stage while GROOVA was playing. And they were encouraging it. It was priceless. |
