Good day #Riverfriends! Today is a happy day for all of us at Riverfest Elora because today we are announcing RIVERFEST ELORA’S WISH YOU WERE HERE!
You might be asking yourself “what is it?!?”.
Well, WISH YOU WERE HERE is not Riverfest Elora. It is a separate mini-fest put on by our wonderful team because we just simply could not wait another year to do something magical for the Riverfest community.
Join us back where Riverfest began, in front of an intimate crowd in the yard at the Elora Centre For The Arts on August 20, 21 and 22, 2021!
How do Tickets work for WYWH:
WYWH is a mini-fest. Actually it’s three concerts, in three days with multiple acts each day!
Only 430 tickets will be available each day in socially distanced, 6’x6’ boxes of 4 people. All boxes are purchased as a package of 4 tickets and are sold per-day, so you can pick and choose which day you want to come, or grab up all three days and make a weekend of it! The performance schedule can be found here:
I have tickets for Riverfest Elora. Can I use them for WYWH?
WYWH is a completely separate and one-off event from Riverfest Elora. This means that it is a new event with its own tickets. If you are currently holding on to your Riverfest tickets for 2020 or 2021, don’t worry! Those tickets are still valid for when Riverfest returns on August 19-21, 2022! Hang on to them because not only will they be locked in at 2020 prices, but we are already working on the lineup for next year and it’s going to be a doozy!
Why do I have to buy a box?
Based on the recommendations from our health officials and in order to gather safely, we will be selling all tickets in Concert Boxes that can hold you, plus 3 household friends (4 people per box).
What about the children?
Unfortunately, due to the limited capacity of WYWH, we are not able to offer a free children’s ticket for this event. Each box holds up to 4 humans, regardless of age. Children 15 and under must be accompanied by an adult.
Will there be weekend passes?
No - Each day will be sold individually but you can totally make your own weekend pass by buying all 3 days!
Can I buy a solo ticket?
No - Tickets will be sold as a Concert Box with a capacity of 4
Is there re-entry once I have entered the grounds and received my wristband?
Yes. We encourage our attendees to get out, explore and enjoy everything the village of Elora has to offer.
Will there be tickets available to purchase at the gate?
Hard to say! If it sells out ahead of time, that’s all there is, folks!
Do I have to print my ticket?
Tickets do not need to be printed as they can be scanned from phones.
Is Wish You Were Here rain or shine?
Indeed it is! We’ll be celebrating regardless of the weather. Make sure you dress accordingly. Bring some slickers if it rains, or sunscreen if it’s going to be a scorcher!

Can I smoke at WYWH?
No thanks! WYWH will be a smoke free environment. Please, if you must smoke, take a walk outside of the festival grounds.
Should I bring cash?
No thanks! As we are still presently in a pandemic, we will not be handling any cash at WYWH. In other words, WYWH is a cashless event. We will be accepting debit and credit cards only!
Now that it's legal, can I bring my cannabis?
While we are a smoke free environment, patrons are allowed to bring a small amount into the event. Large quantities will not be permitted. We ask that all patrons please be considerate of your surroundings as this is a family event and go for a walk outside of festival grounds if you are going to smoke.
