ANNA PADDOCK & THE LAY AWAKES

Anna Paddock is a songwriter and pianist currently based in Brooklyn, New York with her husband and three kids.  Anna has a background in classical piano and earned a Masters of Music in Theory and Composition from New York University, where she began writing songs.  Her most recent project is an EP about her youngest child: stories of light and darkness, motherhood, and interactions with the medical system. She currently teaches and performs in New York and often collaborates with her husband, Patrick Anderson as The Lay Awakes.

Riverfact: The Lay Awakes first performed at Riverfest in 2015. The band are also long-time Riverfest emcees.
