Hailing from Niagara Falls, Ontario, Fame Cartel consist of Eric Diodati (lead vocals, guitar, producer) and Dan Nicoletti (drums, backing vocals), Sean Cahill (lead guitar) and Keegan Beach (Bass/Synth) – a team that have been exploring their sounds since early high school in 2011. Diodati produces and sculpts a massive and dynamic sound, and provides a modern twist on rock music. It’s gritty, moody and in-your-face – offering new sound that they believe the Canadian Rock scene is lacking.
Fame Cartel released its first two singles during the p*ndemic, which was recieved very well by early listeners. Dance With The Devil did incredibly well – racking up 50K+ streams across the major platforms and has been featured commercially across social media platforms and YouTube channels. These releases were a step in the right direction – which gave Diodati a clear path to the band’s next single – Money Where Your Mouth Is. The hard-hitting third single is a testament of the sonic direction moving forward. It has also been featured at mulitple events arcoss Ontario including Boxing Events and Junior Hockey games.
During the Summer of 2022, the band toured the Ontario club/festival scene which included a main stage gig at Supercrawl 2022 (Hamilton, ON). The band also played venues such as Horseshoe Tavern, Painted Lady (Toronto), Warehouse Concert Hall (Niagara) and Mills Hardware (Hamilton). Fame Cartel management team is currently planning a Summer 2023 Ontario Tour which will include more festival appearances and headlining dates.
Currently, the Cartel has been in the studio, working on their debut EP which will include the most polished and cohesive music to date. This record will feature a darker and more dynamic side of the group, showing listeners their progression into the alternative space and sound they possess today. The EP is set to be released in winter 2023 and will be followed up with EP 2 in the fall of 2023.
