The Shawn Connerys are from the Elora/Fergus area. Michael Raab and Grant Farrell founded the band back in 2004, performing and writing songs which eventually led to their 2014 debut release, Town Secrets….a beautiful collection of songs deeply inspired by the majesty of Elora and its folk, recorded and produced locally with the guidance of Dave Jones. Drummer Ryan Young joined the band in 2018, and on Bass, Dave Jones came aboard in early 2022. The Connerys are currently in studio, recording and producing their second full album release with Dave Jones at the helm once again. This new batch of original material is upbeat and energetic, with a melodic acoustic/electric vibe, and a solid bass and drum foundation. Flavours of indie-rock and alt-folk, the content is nostalgic and appetizing!

Riverfact: Grant, Mike and co. first performed at Riverfest way back in 2013. We’re thrilled to have them back a decade later!
