I already bought my Early Bird Tickets to RFE 2026. Will I get a refund?
Yes. All Early Bird ticket purchasers will receive a refund. Refunds will be processed automatically through our ticketing partner [Ticketmaster/Front Gate]. You do not need to take any action. Once your refund is initiated, you’ll receive an email confirmation directly from the ticketing platform.
How long will it take for my refund to be processed?
Refunds will be issued in as little as 30 days. Patrons will receive an email confirmation when their refund has been processed. Funds will hit the credit card used for the original purchase within 5-7 business days from that time. The window can vary depending on the banking institution or credit card provider. Thank you for your patience.
Why is the Festival being canceled?
After careful consideration, the organizers made the difficult decision to cancel this year’s festival due to several reasons – rising costs outpacing revenues, growing accumulated debt, declining sponsorship support, and industry wide challenges. This decision was not made lightly, but the persistent financial shortfalls have created a level of debt that became impossible to sustain.
Will the festival return in the future?
At this time, there are no plans for future events.
What about other festival events or programs (e.g. Monster Mash)?
Monster Mash will continue to be an event that happens each year.
I’m a volunteer - how can I stay connected or learn what’s next?
Our volunteers have always been the heartbeat of this festival. While this chapter is closing, we hope to stay connected with you.
Can I still buy Riverfest merchandise?
Yes! A limited amount of Festival merchandise will remain available for purchase while supplies last. All proceeds will go toward covering the final operational costs. We are hoping to hold one last Merch pop-up before Christmas. Stay tuned for more details.
How can I share my memories or messages with the team?
We would love to hear from you! Now, more than ever, sharing your stories, photos, memories on social media using #RiverfestElora will help buoy our spirits during this emotional journey.

Are you a volunteer who needs your hours signed?

Absolutely—your presence and passion make a real difference! Go see shows, dance in muddy fields, cheer on emerging artists, and buy the merch that makes you smile. Attend festivals big and small, explore new venues, tell your friends about the magic you experienced, and keep showing up for the arts in all their wild, wonderful forms.
