Toronto-based Drop Dead Poppies blends a psychedelic, improvisational spirit with southern rock flavour and 1970s influences. Formed in 2021, the quartet—led by vocalist-guitarist Poppy Miers—creates infectious energy through inspired jams and evocative lyrics. The lineup features David Sufrin (drums) and Mike Strizic (bass) along with guitarist Paul Phelan, whose slide and pedal steel complete a rich, genre-hopping sound.
